Communications strategy development

At the time this strategy was created, GMSG was experiencing rapid growth and was operating with very lean resources. Fresh was contracted to develop a formal communications strategy to raise awareness of the association and its mining guidelines, elevate member engagement, and enhance networking and cross-industry collaboration.

  • Worked closely with Executive Director to understand strategic priorities, opportunities and challenges
  • Attended events and participated in working group discussions
  • Collaborated with the incumbent agency to ensure plan aligned with marketing objectives
  • Interviewed key stakeholders – advocates and some who were less engaged to get a full perspective
  • Reviewed organizational research and insights
  • Wrote plan and presented to Executive Director
